Hotel Costa Málaga - Adults Recommended - by Pierre & Vacances

Great location in the centre of town and tram stop 2 mins away . The beach was a pleasant 10 minute stroll away and plenty of diffent routes to take . We liked the stairs going down lined with shops either side . The room was not massive but modern and had everything we needed including a balcony facing the sea as asked for . We were on level 10 which is the same as the bar with its large seating area with amazing views . When we were there in march it was closed most of the time but you could still access the area which we did and claimed it as our personal huge patio area🤣. We didn’t use the pool area but looked a little tight on space which didn’t matter as we preferred the beach . The gym was ok but open 24/7 which was nice . We went half board and the high light of the hotel was the evening food there was not as much choice as massive hotels but the quality was much better . Well done to all the kitchen staff 👋👋. Would I come back ? Yeah I think I would 👍. Thanks for a nice stay.

Location excellent, near shops & restaurants. Train station 3 mins walk. Uber to airport €11. Beds comfortable. TV has 7/8 English channels. Good spacious, hot shower and pressure. Ensuite can do with a deep clean, corners & shower glass needs a good scrub. Lad that checked us in not very friendly, girls on during the day much nicer. Staff under a bit of pressure at pool bar, people were kept waiting a long time for drinks & food. Luggage storage but no room available to shower or change. Would stay again seeing so central to everything.

Do not book with this hotel. I booked two nights for three people. It was a nightmare. The first night we spent there, we did not sleep at all. There was too much noise outside, footsteps could be heard from the floor above, and doors were slamming. The next day, I went to the reception to request a refund because I did not want to spend a second night in this hotel. The woman at the reception confirmed that I would be refunded. When I left, I went to book another hotel. There was no way I could spend a second night in this hotel. It was a nightmare. I was never refunded. They are thieves. The woman at the reception confirmed that I would get a refund, but I was never refunded. Stay away from this hotel, it is a disaster. Even the buffet was very basic. Low-quality ingredients, not many options. Do not go there.

Definitely not worth 4 star rating. Room was shabby things broken and marked. Lifts are old and neglected with loose switches on the wall. I could hear the guests in the next room talking and coughing. miniscule balcony with a dirty table. Peeling paint on inside of door. Cracked tile on bathroom floor.Rooftop bar not open. Would not recommend for the price.

Clean room with comfortable bed. Limited space in bathroom for toiletries and no mirror on dressing table. Staff pleasant and helpful. Close to center of town. Uber to beach Very effective.

We stayed here for 3nights, hotel itself is very nice. Pool area lovely, reasonably priced food and drink at the bar . Staff very friendly When we arrived at our room on floor nine we found that the balcony door handle was only held on by two screws and was coming off. The rooms are very dated and do not look like they do in the pictures. One part of the ceiling tile was completely lifted up and the smell of sewage from the bathroom was absolutely disgusting. We complained to the reception and she moved just rooms, apart from that we had a really good stay at the hotel it’s a great location right In the middle the town. unfortunately due to the room situation we wouldn’t be staying here again such a shame as that really let it down.
