“Good value for money in a lovely setting.”

The cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. The bed was comfortable and warm. Food and service in the restaurant were excellent.

To be improved

Breakfast only served from 0930, not good if you need to catch a ferry. We were given a picnic to take away with us.

“An excellent country hotel”

The best

A spotlessly clean room with comfortable beds and a good shower. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the evening meal was taken in a lovely semi-external restaurant room and the breakfast was one of the best we have had in Spain.

“Convenient and comfortable…………”

Stopped here in the way to the ferry (Santander 55 minutes, Bilbao 1hr 15 ). Very comfortable hotel with nice restaurant opposite also belonging to the hotel. We had a nice walk around the pretty village.

To be improved

The meal at the hotel was good but we were very surprised when the starter of a plateful of sliced beef tomato, onion and olive oil (which the waiter told us about but wasn’t on the menu) was charged at 13.75
