The building itself is very beautiful, nicely restored and decorated. The shower was good.

We were very disappointed about this place. Price vs quality is not in balance, €120 per night. We stayed at better places during our stay in Valencia for the same price or even less.The man at the reception told us that the restaurant was closed for dinner and that, due to problems, there would probably no breakfast in the morning but they were busy to work things out. In the morning there was nobody around and there was a note in Spanish on the door of the breakfast area that there was no breakfast that day. No alternatives mentioned. That is really not done! Very unprofessional. In the evening I spoke to the owners, 3 men, who said breakfast would be available the next morning. They told me the cook did not show up. I asked for a refund for 1 day breakfast but instead they offered me drinks, which I did not accept as after dinner that would be too late for us. The next day breakfast was poor, coffee/tea, some bread, cheese, ham and some cookies. You don’t need a cook for that. It would have been nice if there was some orange juice, eggs, fruits. The room, we were under the roof, was warm, no airco nor a ventilator. Unsafe window without a fence. No cleaning after the 1st night (we stayed 2). We had to sleep with open windows due to the warmth, difficult to get asleep noisy people on the square till after midnight. The building itself is very beautiful, nicely restored and decorated. The shower was good. It does have potential, however, given the above, we would not return to this place.

Sergio, was very helpful and understanding, when we asked to check out early!!!! The real Issue in a way was related to Global Warming,. We were the only guests in the hotel and the restaurant and bar were not open, also in the village NONE of the bars or restaurant's were open either so we had no food or drink on the night we arrived. It was like we were in a ghost town. The main reason seems to be the lack of Snow at the nearby Ski resorts, resulting in the lack of visitors and then subsequently and the normal supporting facilities. We decided to check out the next morning and Sergio was very sympathetic and understanding, and even cooked us a really good breakfast. He fully understood our situation and was excellent in the way he dealt with us. Instead of us leaving with a bad experience his actions lifted our spirits and has left us looking forward to returning sometime in the future, when visitors are present and the village facilities are running as normal. The Hotel is lovely and sits in a beautiful position in the village, and will provide a delightful stay in busier times. Thank you Sergio, we appreciate your excellent customer service and understanding.
