The best

The room was clean and comfortable. The check in however was poor. We waited at least 20 minutes for someone to arrive. We tried contacting them through email and rang the bell at the front door. When someone did arrive they didn't apologize or offer any reason why they left us waiting for so long.

The best

Basic but large room with three singles. Everything was gleaming clean. Staff were warm and welcoming despite arriving at 3AM. Exceptional helpful. The weather was cold at night and the room was warm. En suite had a great shower and lots of hot water. Soap towels etc were plentiful. Had a fridge but no kettle, but we knew this before we arrived and brought one. The lift was great for my mum as we were on the third floor. Close to cafes and restaurants, not far from the town centre. Velez is gorgeous. A good blend of old and new.

It was a great tourist class hotel. Easy access to public transportation. Close to markets and eateries.

To be improved

Could have used more pillows on the bed, but that's just a personal preference. The water pressure was so strong that it sprayed onto the floor and had to use my extra towel to clean up the mess. But none of these are actual problems.
