“Wonderful hotel!”
This is a classic place to stay in Caceres. The décor is antique but classy. The location is excellent: it’s just steps away from places to shop, including a little Spar grocery store, a Carrefour Express, a Granier bakery, etc. Our room three floors up was quite functional, with a really comfortable queen-size bed, a nice little balcony, and a small refrigerator to stock our beer and wine. The staff was friendly and professional: when we needed ice, they rustled it up immediately. Same thing when we needed to order a taxi, which happened often: we were in town to visit friends we met ten years ago in Benalmadena. In the morning, the reception desk had a great little coffee machine that only required a “donation” on one euro per cup. The most memorable part of our accommodation was the ultra-modern bathroom. The shower had better pressure than the one we have back here in Canada! We’ll be back for our next visit!
“This was a comfortable stay and was a good place to stop for one night on our way to the south coast”
It was a comfortable place to stay. Obviously it would be easier if parking outside the hotel was possible but the garage 2 streets away was acceptable.
The helpfulness of the staff at the reception desk varied . Mostly they were very pleasant.
“Location, though 25 mins walk from the train station its just inside the medieval area. Quaint non genetic hotel with lovely continental breakfast”

“A really beautiful building, historic mansion comfortably decorated with cozy seating nooks, nice paintings and mirrors.”
Ambience, decor, location, comfortable bed, helpful staff, all day coffee counter. Great location.
“a little gem. Two stars! I think not.”
once found through the maze of roads we found it perfectly located to explore the old town. The building itself was full of character and very pleasant. The garage was nearbye as the crow flies but not so easy to reach in the car. minor observations which did not distract from a marvellous stay.
shower needs maintainance.
