“No way to communicate with the hotel.”

I tried to change my booking at this hotel the week prior to my reservation as they forecasted 65 mm of rain. I wanted to delay 2 days ( this was slow season) . The hotel does not respond to email or telephone calls. I repeatedly made attempts to contact them, and they never responded. When i went to the front desk ( on the rainy day) and brought it up to the agent, she just told me oh you have to come in the morning and find a manager from 8-11 am, which didn't work for me. They took no responsibility. The hotel showed its location as right on the river but it neglected to mention they also have another building across the street with no views. The hotel itself is nothing special and is very dated.

“Disappointing and outdated!”

The best

Very old and outdated hotel. Rusty sink stand. No fridge or kettle, or tea/coffee, cups etc for making a cuppa. Had to walk out of the main hotel down a side street and into another part where at least there is an elevator. Wouldn't recommend this hotel at all, you are just paying for a room whereas I am sure there are alot cheaper hotels in the surrounding vicinity! Should be only 2 stars and that's being polite!

“My car was driven without authorization while parked in the hotel’s garage”

The best

I stayed one night at Don Miguel and left my rental car safely parked in the hotel’s garage, with the key at reception. Months later, I was notified of a police fine showing the car recorded at a completely different location that same night. This means someone must have taken the car while it was supposed to be in the hotel’s care. I contacted the hotel immediately with all documentation, expecting a serious investigation or at least assistance in clarifying what happened. Instead, their reply was shockingly aggressive and dismissive. It is deeply troubling that a guest’s car could be taken and used without consent, and that the hotel refuses any cooperation to resolve it. I am now forced to escalate this matter further, but I feel it’s important that other travellers are aware. Please think twice before trusting this hotel with your vehicle or belongings.

“Great location”

The best

Nice hotel, lovely location right beside the bridge. Our room (411) was in a building down the street from the hotel and had a partial view of the bridge but the overall view was beautiful. Room were sparce but functional with a huge bathroom and sun balcony. Breakfast was in the main hotel and was basic and ok, not great but not terrible. I would recommend .

“Nice but small room”

The best

Nice hotel, expensive but that's Ronda. Clean room, but very small and sparsely furnished. Staff friendly. Very old building, had to go down 1 floor, along, then up 2 to access room. It had a balcony overlooking a street. It was very small. Room had curtains and shutters, but red lights over door lit up the room at night
