Hotel Don Pepe Ria

When we arrived we were told that we had been upgraded to room in main hotel rather than annexe which we had booked, we were also told we were lucky as we could still access free parking at annexe despite upgrade. The attic room we were upgraded to was a sweat box, you could only stand in half of the room and it was unbearably hot. There is no aircon and the fan made little difference to room temperature. When I showered in the morning to freshen up I was unable to dry hair in bathroom due to heat. I did go to reception to complain and was told there was no other room available, even the one we had booked !! If staying I. Summer request to not be placed in attic room.

No bicycles in the room policy, despite plenty of space. They had to be kept in a separate garage, without insurance, which was difficult to enter and leave, causing unnecessary delays.

The front door to the annex had a strong closer where meant fellow guests allowed door to slam very noisily. Room is quite small but ok for one night.

The room in the out building across the street, not actually in the hotel and was top floor only accessible by stairs. There was mould in the mini bar, the shower was the smallest I have ever seen and there was no plug for the sink or any soap. I was looking forward to this booking and it was one of the most expensive on my trip, so it was quite a disappointment
