The staff were all excellent, helpful and always pleasant. Secure parking for motorcycle at no extra charge, both a winner in busy Spanish cities! A simple but very affordable hotel!

I booked a parking place and they let someone else have it for the first night. We had to park on a very narrow street and partially on a yellow line, the space is used by the hotel for loading and unloading. Luckily we did not get a ticket.

“A very comfortable two night stay in an extraordinary city.”

I arrived around 4 in the afternoon after a very long motorcycle ride and was greeted by Sr. Agustin a very courtious and extremely helpful receptionist. He unlocked the hotels private garage next to the entrance and helped me put my bike safely inside then took care of booking me into my room. Sr. Agustin spoke very good English which made the booking process very quick. I also met Sr. Jaime, the other receptionist, who was just as friendly and attentive. My room was on the first floor of three and there is a modern elevator available. My room was fully airconditioned and the bed was very comfortable. The private toilet area was not new but very clean and totally functionable. I showered straight away and the water jet was strong with nice hot water available almost immediately. The towels were clean and fresh. The room has a wardrobe, two night stands either side of the bed and a table that has a flat screen television on it with good quality, various channels. The hotels wifi was quite efficient for my use. There is a large breakfast room on the ground floor next to the hotel entrance that serves from 9 in the morning. The staff were very friendly and always polite. Breakfast consisted of the biggest slices of toast you will ever come across plus ham, cheese and turkey. Also natural yoghurt, butter, jam and marmelade with fresh orange juice, tea or coffee. If you want more, just ask and it is served. The hotels location is very good, just a three minute walk to the middle of the the main pedestrian street then no more than a 7 minute stroll to the Bull Ring etc. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay at Hotel Donã Carmen and would definately stay there again

This is not a 4 star hotel, so do not expect that level of comfort. What you do get is extremely good value for money.
