A good place to stay overnight in Giron while walking the Camino del Norte

I stayed in a nice hotel room, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good staff, plenty of food options near the hotel.

I chose the hotel based purely on location (closest one to where the friends I was visiting live) and was absolutely fine for what I needed. I ended up working on my laptop at the little desk in my room a lot more than expected and the WiFi didn't drop once. Staff were friendly, room & hotel clean, a little noisy but it's on the main road with a restaurant underneath (which opens much later than it says online) but the windows keep the worst of the road and bin lorry noises out.

Given 4/5 as they do the leave the key at reception when you leave the hotel thing - while I understand this in terms of loss prevention and knowing who is in the hotel in an emergency, there was often noone to hand it to forcing you to leave it on the desk and hope noone else picked it up, which doesn't make you feel like your work laptop is very secure in your room! However, overall, I would stay there again.
