“Big disappointment”

It was close to all amenities

the drinks prices was way over the top plus little things in the room need checking properly the breakfast was disappointing the bread was very hard to eat and the biggest upset we been out for the evening when we got back to the hotel the bar was closed couldn’t get room service not the sort of thing I’d expect from any hotel.

Air con would not cool the room. Lowest temperature was 25.7 degrees with a portable fan provided. They offered me three other rooms but they were all the same temperature with higher rooms even warmer. I paid for 10 nights in advance but left the hotel after one night to an equivalent hotel with proper air con so I could enjoy my time in Madrid. The management would not offer me a single Euro in compensation (the stay cost me $4,000 AUD) and would not communicate with me directly in person or by email. The staff are helpless.

They called themselves a hotel, but by no standards, it is a hotel. Very dated , the AC set to 27°c 80°f . and I couldn't sleep. I got up at 6am and ren away.
