“Excellent hotel apart from ongoing building work at adjacent hotel.”
Firstly, an excellent adults only hotel to stay in normally, we returned here to find it had been refurbished recently and looked clean and contemporary. All staff were helpful and a special mention to Joanna at the restaurant who charmed everyone. She was one of the staff who took the time to interact with guests, making them feel comfortable and welcome whilst she did her job efficiently. A really good ambassador for the hotel, keep it up Joanna. Also Miguel another character who made us welcome. We stayed a week half board and the selection and quality of the food at breakfast and dinner was excellent. The room had air-conditioning and was clean with a partial view of the beach from the balcony. We were supplied with a kettle on request free of charge to make tea in our room. There's free WiFi and free safe to use in the room. Now the slight downside, the hotel adjacent to ours is under renovation and there is constant building noise from 8am till 6pm. It was never mentioned on the website we booked through ,if it had been, we would have considered other hotels. The double glazing helps but didn't block it entirely, we were out most days but if you came back to rest it was noisy. The hotel is right on the beach esplanade 20m from the pristine clean beach. It has its own rooftop solarium with jacuzzi, with great views over the bay, especially at sunset. There's no shade up on the roof but understandably as it can get breezy and parasols would blow way. There's a lovely balcony at the front on the ground floor overlooking the beach, to sit and people watch whilst having your breakfast or a drink later. The hotel is 10 mins from the airport ,about €17 by taxi or €5 pp bus, the A2bus (normal bus to Palma A25/A35 is only €2 pp), you can hire bikes locally and from hotel, the roads have cycle paths so very safe. It takes about 1hr 40 to walk into centre of Palma and is worth doing, visit inside the cathedral and then sit in Passeig del Born at a cafe listening to local buskers over a wine, sangria or coffee. We took a tourist train trip to El Arenal further along the bay but I wouldn't recommend it as its full of stags and hen parties but very lively if you like that. Overall I highly recommend this hotel but contact them first to see if building work is still ongoing. It looked like it would be for some time.
“Great place to stay, but only when the building work next door is finished!”
Stayed here for a week after previously having visited about 10 years ago. Since then the hotel has been refurbished beautifully. Rooms are not big, but have everything you need and are kept spotlessly clean. BE AWARE!Unfortunately at the moment, there is major building work going on at an abandoned hotel next door, so if you are on that side of the hotel ( which we were) , it is VERY noisy from about 8 am- 6pm, 7 days a week! So you couldn't enjoy sitting on your balcony. You can also hear it from the roof terrace, so we had to spend every day away from the hotel. It's nowhere near finished and looks like it will be going on for quite a while. So just be aware if you want a quiet holiday, as we were not told of this before we booked! The beautiful beach is just across the road from the hotel and is cleaned every evening. You can borrow beach umbrellas and various other things for free from the hotel, or pay for sunbeds on the beach. The hotel is very popular with cyclists. There are o lot of safe cycle routes and you can also hire bikes nearby. Our stay was made bearable by the lovely food and the fantastic staff. We were half board and were treated to an excellent buffet breakfast every morning and a fantastic buffet spread for dinner. Beautifully prepared and set out, with so many lovely choices to try. Huge credit to the kitchen staff who make this possible. The restaurant staff are so friendly and helpful. Have to give special mention to Joanna, who is so friendly and fun.( we need more Joannas in the world) As well as being extremely hardworking, she can converse in many languages , is such a bubbly fun person and has such a lovely way with the guests, and also Miguel Angel, both of them, along with the rest of the restaurant team, created a great atmosphere in the restaurant and really enhanced our stay. To summarise, a great place to stay, but only when the building work next door is finished!
“A real gem!”
Located at the quieter end of Palma beach, this hotel offers incredible sea views from its casual and contemporary downstairs terrace bar or balcony (if you upgrade to a sea view room). This is a 3-star hotel that excels at keeping things simple and doing them very well. The room was spotlessly clean, the food was of excellent quality, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Okay, there is no swimming pool, but the cool rooftop plunge pool provides welcome respite from the heat, and of course, the beach and sea are only a few metres away. We really enjoyed our stay here and would have no hesitation in returning.
“Great hotel”
Third summer and Hotel Eden. A lovely small hotel with an excellent location on Palma Playa itself. Adult only and there is no noise, so you can relax in a bar or on the roof with a wonderful view. The food is varied enough and delicious. The hospitable permanent staff gives warmth and a feeling as if you are at home. When you see them in a good mood and cordial at work, it is clear that the management cares about the guests as well as the employees. Kudos to the whole team!
“100% amazing”
What a wonderful holiday in a lovely little hotel with views of the beautiful Playa Palma. I cannot thank the team enough from housekeeping, to waiting staff and reception. We have usually stayed in **** hotels and this was *** but well worth it! The hotel was clean , staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious and varied! We were so happy with our choice and would highly recommend. Special mentions for Simona and Joanna and the rest of the team ( I’m so sorry I didn’t get names) , EVERY one … so please could they get some recognition for what they do effortlessly, day in day out. Amazing! Sad to be home 😪
“Had nice views”
Size of the room was lovely with a brilliant view. Shower was good.
The room was filthy, sand everywhere, previous occupiers hairs all around the bathroom sink. When complained to reception they didn’t care just said ok. Didn’t find the staff welcoming at all. Air con didn’t work, turned the settings right down and the room was still 26’c
