“Stunning hotel but room for improvement”

The hotel is set on such a beautiful vineyard, you feel like you are in the heart of wine country. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The receptionist was really lovely Location is great too, very close to a cute little town called la gaurdia

Considering the hotel has such a stunning location and is a vineyard hotel, I feel they really don’t make use of it enough. There is no where to go sit outside and have a drink or food in and amongst the scenery. The bar/cafe faces the road which makes no sense to me. Even the wine tasting was entirely indoors which was so dissapointing! The main hotel restaurant was really poor both in terms of the food taste/quality and the service. We asked to move to a window view seat once a table freed up and got told off.

Beautiful location and fun wine tour. Close to Laguardia.

We were travelling with a dog and the policies didn’t make it easy. He couldn’t come with us to the restaurant, terrace or stay by himself in the room. We had to leave him in the car which is not good in hot weather and rushed us.

Wonderful location and views, although in the middle of nowhere so pleased we were only staying for 1 night. Lovely bedrooms and friendly staff.

To be improved

We wouldn't book the wine tasting tour again. Sadly the tasting wines weren't a great example of what they produce and the tour was fairly basic in comparison to the tours at neighbouring Haro.
