Location to Gothic Area and Las Ramblas and sites to see ... John at front desk was spectacular in assisting in whatever he could. ...

The best

The staff was very nice and accommodating when I shared my shock and disappointment with our room. The lobby area is super cute, good aroma therapy, tastefully decorated, so good first impression. But once off the smallest of elevators to the hallway of rooms, it was like a different place. Looked like a low grade nursing home. Horrible smell on the 2nd floor and smallest room with no window, no circulation, AC not working properly, foul odor in our room similar to hallway, no hot water in shower, etc. I asked the front desk what my options were, they moved me and my daughter to a larger room with a window the next day. A clear improvement, but still on the 2nd floor and not the kind of room I would chose to book in the future.

To be improved

I didn’t appreciate the significant difference in the decor and aesthetics of the lobby and the rest of the hotel. The stale, musty odor in the hallways and room were awful. Bedding..I think what is usually a comforter at the foot of the bed was a curtain or table cloth.
