Traditional friendly old fashioned hotel offering clean and comfortable accommodation and real value with parking and excellent location. Will definitely use this hotel again if it’s available.

The staff were super helpful and friendly. The location was excellent. A 15-min-walk to the train station and minutes from the city centre. The hotel was very clean.

It didn't have a fridge or kettle. It was an older hotel. It was a great stay.

“A very centrally located, basic, dated hotel.”
The best

Location was excellent. only a 12 minute walk from the railway station and less than 10 minutes into the old town. Staff generally helpful.

To be improved

The air conditioning - or rather the lack of it. It did say the property was air conditioned but it was set centrally and kept at 24 degrees. I did say it was far too hot for me, but the staff said it could not be changed. Also no information on the wi fi code until I went to ask and then it wouldn't work initially.

It’s been in the family 3 generations . Extremely polite , helpful and informative.

No washing up liquid to clean mugs etc or tea cloth to dry utensils
