Hotel El Pozo

As I mentioned...parking situation...but I guess it coems with teh territory

The hotel is perhaps a bit older, but to be honest I enjoy this. It has a more classic feel to it, and perhaps someone looking for a more modern hotel would be disappointed. I like staying in these types of hotels.

Nothing i can think off

Ok here goes. My room had a view of a wall and some roof tiles. I had no balcony but the room.next door did, so I couldn't relax undressed in my room as next door could look into my room. The tv had poor signal, so only a limited number of channels worked. The WiFi was down for the whole week with no end in sight of it being repaired and due to the location of the building, surrounded by other buildings and with thick walls, I could hardly even get any phone signal. You have to pay (all be it a depisit).to use the safe. If you want your towels changed more often than every 3 days, their is a surcharge. On checkout their is a safe room to leave your luggage until you depart for your flight, but there are no shower facilities to freshen up before you go. Decent breakfast, tho not cheap. Full English costing €10, plus coffee €2 and a small glass of orange juice €3. The worst thing tho, I've saved it until last, im a single guy. I booked and paid for a double room in the hope I could bring a guest back for ermm refreshments as and when I wanted to, but no. I was stopped and warned it is not allowed and I couldn't bring a guest to my room at all. How are people meant to have fun(sex), make acquaintances or anything on holiday when you can't even bring anyone back to the room? Next time, I'll book a single room at a single rate. This was embarrassing and disappointing. Pay the bit extra and stay at Ritual.or Fenix where this issue is never a problem. Dated fixtures and fittings. Overall enjoyable stay but with the edge taken off with a lot of little gripes, and one big one.
