“A hotel with a nice swimming pool area, the rest of the areas are also somewhat nice. The location is in a village within driving distance of interesting places like Segovia and La Granja. · Cons: Hotel room is outdated, bathroom was definitely from the previous century. Mattresses in our two rooms were particularly uncomfortable, you could feel the metal springs underneath. One of them was even indented from use. Resting was not easy also given that water sprinklers turned on at 1a.m. - given the very low temperature of the centrally operated AC, we had the windows open so had to listen to the noise until 2 a.m. Surely a better time for watering the garden can be found (e.g. 11 p.m.?). Breakfast was limited and items were not replenished - on the first morning, we arrived at 9.30 and there were no eggs, bacon, cake or oat milk and no one replaced them. Food at bar and restaurant is okay but way overpriced and staff there didn't try too hard at being polite. Overall, given the price, it is not a good value for money. Definitely would not repeat.”

“Fabulous- no complaints at all - will return”

The best

Beautiful buildings. Lovely big clean room ( with a bath). Balcony overlooking the gardens. Fridge. Choice of 2 bars when we arrived ( 1 indoor and 1 outdoor). Choice of 2 restaurants- we ate outside in the tapas restaurant. Gorgeous food. Friendly staff. Very dog friendly. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Will absolutely definitely come back one day. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

To be improved

Nothing - husband said tea/coffee making in the room would be nice but this didn’t bother me.

“A lovely place on a warm sunny day.”

The best

The hotel staff were great. The room was large and the bathroom and shower were perfect. The infinity pool was a great place to cool off after a long drive and the bar was well stocked with friendly staff. The restaurant food was lovely.

“Beautiful hotel, large comfortable room, dog friendly · Cons: Piano bar and lounge closed at 9pm on both nights. We dined at the outside bar/cafe in the hotel grounds but would have then loved a couple of drinks in the hotel bar before bed, couldn't even get a coffee”
