Hotel Equo Aranjuez

I am writing to formally express my concern regarding an incident that occurred during the night of my stay. That evening, I had a friend over in my room. We were simply talking and playing cards. My friend did not rent a room at the hotel and later returned to his own place. At some point, I went downstairs to smoke, and the night receptionist informed me that my friend had been aggressive towards him and caused an argument. I was very surprised to hear this, as I have known my friend for 15 years and I know he would never act aggressively without reason. I tried to apologize to the receptionist regardless, but he did not accept it and instead told me that he would write a report about the incident. He also told me that I was not allowed to have any visitors in my room, even though we were seen entering the hotel together earlier without being informed of any such rule. Furthermore, I found it odd that the receptionist asked my friend for his passport as he was leaving the building. He also pointed out that there were security cameras and asked me, “What do you want to do about that?” — a question I found confusing and somewhat threatening. This whole interaction left me feeling uncomfortable and unfairly treated. I believe it could have been handled with more respect and better communication.

Hard pillow and only one provided

The balcony was covered in loud pigeons and their poop. The bathroom smelt like it was backed up. The air conditioning was very weak and turned itself off on a regular basis. The shower temperature was very sensitive and the water pressure was nonexistent.

It was an excellent hotel with very helpful staff
