“Beautiful stay, exceeding all expectations! Website doesn’t do it justice. Everything is covered. Lovely extras include beach bags, beach towels, pool towels, flip flops and dressing gown, complimentary mini bar and even more! Just wonderful, we will be back!! · Cons: The pool kiosk to open a little earlier, 12 to open and 1pm for food was a little late as we would’ve liked waters and coffees etc! Also closes at 4pm and we would’ve loved a drink by the pool a little later than this as it was still lovely and sunny etc,”

“I would not recommend this hotel”
The best

Location, food, it was beautiful and we were really excited at check in

To be improved

Our shower wouldn’t drain the first night and maintenance was already gone, so no showers the first day which was hard. Then we had a leak from the ceiling the second day and maintenance was again gone already when it started, so we had to listen to water dripping from the ceiling in our room the entire night and it continued to get worse. The maintenance showed up the next day and said it was the AC and no big deal. I guess it happens a lot. There were also no blackout curtains, so us and our kids woke up super early and got very little sleep. We would not stay here again. The manager gave us a small credit but wasn’t apologetic at all and argued with us about the shower issue and we had to take her to the room and show her before she believed us.

The best

Excellent staff who provided excellent guest service. Front desk, restaurant and housekeeping staff were all amazing. Hotel is very well maintained and clean. We traveled as a couple on our self supported cycling trip to Mallorca. We arrived around 10:30 am and they allowed us to check in early. A la carte breakfast, bike storage, pools, spa were all excellent.

“Relaxing luxury”
The best

Ideal location across from the beach. Two good restaurants and a beautiful breakfast buffet with an extensive variety of offerings, breads, toppings, fruit, meats and cheese. Made to order eggs. Many comfortable spaces to lounge, by the pool, on a deck, in the lobby. Clean, quiet even being on the promenade. Very helpful and friendly staff.

“Hotel Esplendido - Absolutely fabulous !!”
The best

I don’t normally write a review but we had such a wonderful time here that I felt I had to . I stayed for a week with my daughter and her 4 month old baby girl . I can’t thank the hotel enough for their wonderful help with anything we needed . The staff are incredible , so helpful, thoughtful and just lovely . The front rooms have the most amazing view and the location is just the best . The restaurant was fabulous and again the staff were so attentive and helpful . The Espléndido is a very well run hotel which is obvious within a day of your stay but it’s so much more than that . I have stayed in many hotels over the years and we came away from this one so looking forward to our next visit which is already booked for the same time next year .
