Hotel Faro, a Lopesan Collection Hotel - Adults Only

Absolutely beautiful hotel in what must be one of the best locations on Gran Canaria. The decor is modern and stylish. We especially loved the rooms, so much thought has gone into the layout. It felt calm and uncluttered but definitely not bare as some hotel rooms can be. Room service is second to non and nothing is too much trouble for the staff, we were made to feel special and valued at all times. The hotel is on the sea front and we chose a superior room which had a corner balcony with superb views. The pool was amazing as was the roof top terrace. We definitely felt we had good value for money. The area around the hotel has absolutely everything you need to have an great holiday. So many restaurants, shops and just the right amount of entertainment. Perfect for couples. The breakfast at the hotel was lovely with lots of chose and we had some great poolside meals. We ate out every night, had some delicious meals and didn't feel as though anything was overpriced.

Very staff & what i ask for i got my holiday

Another wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff are outstanding in all areas. The location is ideal, being able to just walk out onto the beach is lovely. The food is excellent as is the cleanliness and housekeeping. Every day we would return to a spotlessly clean bedroom. It was a lovely touch to find a bottle of champagne and a birthday cake in our room , as I was there on my birthday it was a gift from the hotel. The hotel never disappoints and hopefully we will return soon.

Have just spent the most horrendous time at this hotel. Roof top party all day 11 am to 11pm Complained to reception, manager came to room and more or less just said nothing can be done as it was finishing shortly, but in the mean time we have been trying to sleep for the past two hours APPALLING!!!!!

Our second visit. The good things - staff, location, food, rooms. Things to improve on: incessant loud music booming all day from nearby bars; selfish clients 'reserving' sunbeds by leaving their towels on early in the morning - the hotel has a sign asking people not to do this but they do not enforce this.

We were given room 1002, this proved to be a very noisy room. From early morning,there was an extremely squeaky door, trollies rattling, and staff talking. After 3 mornings of this, we complained and were given room 1142 which proved to be much better. The water pressure was also much better in the second room. We had to ask for water and coffee to be replenished by 5pm as it was not done until the evening. Breakfast was excellent with a fantastic choice both to order and from the buffet. The heated pool was lovely and the sun beds were comfortable. There were never any issues finding somewhere. The beds were comfortable and the toiletries provided were great. The hotel is in a perfect location. There does seem to be a lot of design over function with the furniture and lighting. All staff were helpful and polite.
