“Nice hotel in close proximity to Santanilla del Mar”
The best

Nice room with view over courtyard below and then out over fields and trees. Room was cool and staff were helpful Having The Black Tavern across the car park was handy for drinks and snacks

Couldn't control the aircon ourselves, which is irritating, but common these days

“Watch out for hidden charges”

The room was modern, clean and comfortable. I chose this hotel to avail of the spa facilities which I was happy to use but disappointed it wasn't hotter & more accessible.

To be improved

The spa is only open for a short period in the evening & the temperatures are unacceptably low in the sauna, if you are a habitual sauna user. Also it is unclear that there are additional charges for breakfast & the spa at the time of booking. The hotel claims to have a restaurant with room service but actually you need to leave the premises & walk up the road to an Irish bar just to get water. I found that unusual and a bit annoying if you all prepared for the spa. In the morning after paying an additional fee for the spa & breakfast I pointed out that this really wasn't clear from the reservation. The receptionist clearly wasn't interested in my feedback or suggestion that it should say room only on the booking rate. Overall the hotel is clean and comfortable, the booking process could be more clear though.
