The best

The building was beautiful, and the location was lovely and quiet. The staff were very helpful.

To be improved

The sofa bed was very bad, the mattress needed replacing, it hadn’t been checked properly. However when I informed them of the problem, they did their best to make the next night more comfortable for my son. As a really little point that is more for them than anyone else, they should check whether the flowers are dead in the room, the fridge makes a lot of noise in the night, and the glass doors bring in the hallway light that you can’t stop, so it’s not possible to make the room dark.

The breakfast was really good, healthy and wholesome. My vegetarian diet was catered for beautifully. Beautiful countryside accommodation with a really helpful and cheerful host. Many thanks.

Beautifully presented property with wonderful people set in a delightful village. The property has been lovingly restored and is charming yet also chic. Staff are fantastic and want you to have a great stay and resolve any issues.

To be improved

The only tiny draw back is you can’t park next to the property except to unpack, and it’s no issue to walk from the car park to the hotel but we felt it after a long day hiking in the national park, but don’t let that put you off.
