“Everything about hotel Garelos was perfect. Where to start!? Iced tea, ice water and a wide selection of coffees free and on tap. A wonderful continental breakfast buffet to die for. The ladies that run the front desk are amazing - wonderful, professional and helpful. The ac worked and we could control the temperature ourselves!! It's also very well located for walking into the main plaza. We enjoyed Betanzos as a base to visit other places in Galicia - it's a fun town with character. Just to say off you are using a car there is ample parking just south of the hotel in a public car park - if you are lucky you can sometimes find spaces close to the hotel. The hotel does have parking underground for a few fee but it was a bit tight for me to negotiate with the Kia niro that I had and so I decided not to use it. A wonderful hotel and look forward to coming back - you will have an great time here”

Bicycle friendly, allowed in the room. Very clean and comfortable with modern facilities.

“Superb room service and buffet breakfast.”
The best

Modern, clean, beautiful. A gem on the Camino and right on the “Way”. Lovely hosts and fantastic, affordable buffet breakfast. Ate the restaurant next door, for best meal on our trip so far. Wish I had more time to explore the city. I highly recommend.
