Hotel Gastronómico Torre de Galizano

Lack of information provided on check in. Lack of facilities, restaurant was closed and reception staff didn’t inform us when we checked in. Also weren’t informed reception wouldn’t open until 9am next morning which caused us a concern as needed to leave our bags to get transferred to next location from 8am. Tried to contact number provided but no response. Lack of atmosphere. Couldn’t get a drink in evening. Relied on hotel across the road for food, atmosphere and somewhere to chill in the evening. Beautiful room but overall experience could be easily improved with more info and facilities.

Booked hotel for jacuzzi bath which was broken and gastro menu which was not on Staff were not v helpful or apologetic and no one offered to move us to a room where bath worked. Also not offered any goodwill drink or anything to apologise. When I complained the next morning again no apology. Dinner was more expensive than we expected - it turned out the menu in our room and reception was takeaway price - which was misleading. again when we booked the hotel as a treat we were hoping to have the gastro meal but that was not available and

Restaurant could have been better. The food tasted good but the options were very limited and there was not a single vegetarian option.

We didn’t use restaurant as very meat focused and we don’t eat meat, seems has v good reputation and people stay for that, but 22 euros each for breakfast is a bit expensive so we went across road to bakery, which was nice. No tea and coffee making facilities, cups in room, only couple of small glasses, and got a pretty poor response when asked for some in restaurant. Big spa bath took over space in room and toilet and shower boxed in in corner was a bit weird. Overall a comfortable stay, but if could have got a room in cheaper hotel opposite I would unless you want spa bath and posh restaurant
