The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
Very good location close to the beach and old town.
Spa and pool area received positive feedback.
Overall, a lovely stay with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel was very clean and our room was regularly cleaned.
Good pricing for the level of service and amenities offered.
“Great location and friendly staff”
Staff were excellent and great location
We had an over the bath shower and the shower head was very high meaning you couldn’t have a shower without wetting your hair. I would have preferred a walk in shower
“October Break”
Lovely hotel close to beach and old town and supermarket.Easy to get bus to lloret de Mar, and Blanes. Very good walks in the area. Breakfast and dinner offer a good selection of food.Dining room is busy but well organized. Spa is exceptional and reasonable in price. Pool area is small and clean.Would not hesitate to return.
“Excellent hotel”
We stayed here for a week at the begining of October. We were on a bed and breakfast basis and cannot fault either. Plenty of choice at breakfast with both hot and cold food available. The hotel was very clean and our room was regularly cleaned. The hotel was very well positioned in the old town and only a short walk to restaurants and shops. The only one downside to this hotel is that its on an incline which may be a problem to those who have mobility issues
“Traditional.... but very average”
Great location right on the old town short walk to castle, lovely little streets with cafes, shops & restaurants. Very traditional style of hotel & public spaces with filled with great artefacts & very clean. Outside areas mainly gardens with lots & lots of trees & plants inviting lots of mozzies & small flys also preventing sun making much of a show ( not sure if that would be different in summer. Sunbeds need fixing or replacing, pool was ice cold. Bar was nice good prices for named brands & bar staff pleasant. Restaurant, breakfast was great wide variety of hots & colds, sweets & savoury. Evening meal.was at best average school dinners we ate out all nights apart from 2. Now the rooms, desperately need upgrading even if they are going for the traditional look. Broken knobs on doors wobbly tables see pics for bathroom. You will have to pay for fridge €3 a day. It's ok but could be so much better.
“Beautiful Quaint Spanish Hotel”
Recently spent a week here and loved it. Got checked in at 1.39am by a friendly night manager. My room was compact but spotless and had everything I needed. Super comfy bed and pillows. Very good quality linen. Nice little balcony with table and chair and clothes hanging facility. Nice view of the castle. Bathroom had a lovely shower which was a decent size and great water pressure. Toiletries provided too. Room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Huge selection available and good quality foods. You can also sit outside to eat if weather nice. Loved the decor in the hotel. Very unique and gave the hotel an interesting Spanish feel. The pool area was of a decent size but didn’t get any sunshine. There were sun beds in other areas of the grounds which did get the sun but it was also a haven for flies and mozzies due to the greenery. The beds do need replacing though. Not comfy. Free jacuzzi which got used a lot. Nice bar area with good prices for drinks. Entertainment one night was good. Although I found it hilarious that the guy was pretending to play the guitar 😂. I didn’t use the hotel spa so can’t comment on it. Hotel is in a great location to the old part of the town. It’s up a small hill but it’s not that difficult to climb. (I’m in my late 60’s). Near to the bus station. A short walk to the beach and the castle. Lots of lovely little shops and restaurants only a short distance from the hotel. My only gripe is the constant piped music throughout the hotel. Could even hear it in my room and after a few days it became very annoying. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re coming to Tossa.
“Fantastic in all respects.”
What a fantastic hotel. This was our second stay. Lovely rooms, lovely choice at breakfast, lovely gardens with lots of places to relax. The staff are cheerful and nothing is too much trouble. The location is perfect, just a nice stroll into the most lovely( seem to be using that word a lot!) Spanish town. Our only regret is that we didn’t try the evening meal. Would have paid a very reasonable fee to go half board, even if we didn’t eat there every night- there are some lovely restaurants in town.
