“Unacceptable that management let noise and party go on through night”

The hotel was way overpriced for what was on offer, simple basic room that had a bad smell (not sure if cigarettes or mold) Management did nothing as a party continued through the night so none of us got a decent rest. I paid a premium for the room, especially for a weekend and thé stay wasn't acceptable - I'm an American journalist doing a series of articles on cycling in Portugal and Spain for several American magazines. I've booked over 40 nights in both countries and this was the most expensive, yet it delivered one of the least enjoyable stays by far!
