Verified reviews from real guests who have already stayed here.
Consistently praised for its central historic location.
Many reviews highlighted the helpfulness and professionalism of the staff.
Food and beverage services not specifically mentioned, assumed standard.
Basic amenities mentioned, but some desired features were missing.
Mixed feelings with location and service being strong points, but room issues detracted overall.
Some rooms had issues with cleanliness as mentioned in multiple reviews.
“Not a good experience”
Booked 4 twin (to push together) or 2 queen beds to accommodate a 6’6 guest. Was rudely told no - two people two beds (twins). No toiletries, no tissues, no coffee maker, no windows or amenities. Great location though.
“Better avoid”
Location was okay (ish)
Dust everywhere, unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom, thin walls lots of noise from adjacent rooms, rooms claustrophobically small, requirement to leave the key at the reception while going out and about to sightsee
“Room smelled like mold”
Staff entered our room without our permission. Our room smelled like mold so we left the electrical key powered on to keep the A/C going while we left the room and the staff entered our room and removed the electrical key.
“AVOID this Hotel”
All around AWFUL experience: ground floor room was like a zoo cage. Claustrophobic, stuffy and noisy. No exterior window. Room “window”has bars and faces an interior elevator lobby that is brightly lit. A sofa sits in the lobby just out side of the room which made us feel like we were in bed with strangers. Double bed is small and very uncomfortable. Door locking system is archaic and a fire hazard. Staff is extremely rude and unaccommodating.
“Cons: Poor quality air-conditioning”
Poor quality air-conditioning
“Only for spring and autumn”
Location is the only thing I liked about this hotel.
AC didn’t work even though the day was 42 degrees outside.
