“Good location · Cons: The room was poorly cleaned.”
Good location
The room was poorly cleaned.
“The location is great, a lot of public transport options wherever you want to go. The breakfast is fine. We didn't have it included in the price, so you can try it once and if you don't like it, you don't have to pay more. They changed towels every day and provided toiletries regularly. It is cheaper with a reason. · Cons: The air conditioner is placed in front of the bed. Although it is aimed at the ceiling, when you lie down, the cold air hits your head directly. The direction of the air blowing cannot be changed. That's why I had to sleep with a hat on. It is impossible to sleep without the air conditioner on: during the day the temperature is 40 degrees, and at night, although it is slightly cooler, you cannot sleep with the window open due to the location of the hotel - cars and trams are constantly passing by. The control panel is on the wall next to the door, and there is no remote control. One night our air conditioner kept turning off, I had to get up five times to turn it on again because I couldn't sleep from the heat. In the morning, the reception told me that the air conditioners in the two neighboring rooms are connected - that is, if the person in the room next to me turns off the air conditioner, mine will turn off too. That was shocking to me and I asked for it to be fixed, to which they told me that they would block that connection. The second night went fine. The third night again the same problem! We had to call the reception again and complain that someone was turning off the air conditioning. Apparently they have solved it. Before the fourth night, we were at the reception again to tell them about the problem again, so that on the fourth night it would happen again that someone else controls the air conditioning in our room. This was very exhausting and very frustrating because I'm on vacation and I want to rest and not fight all night with my neighbor about the temperature. The room, like the hotel itself, is very old and could use some renovation. The walls look like they haven't been painted in years, and there's a lot of dust on the radiators. The toilet tank is not working properly. The hairdryer is old and weak, with cracked plastic, so I'm not sure how safe it is to use, especially for drying very long hair.”
