“Noise Noise Noise”
The best

The hotel fronts on a narrow, cobblestone street with one lane and no parking. Any car or talking on the street can be heard in a room on that side. Normally, that's not a problem. But we were there for three nights, and each night a crew apparently doing something to the cobblestones worked for an hour or more with very noisy equipment. One night the work was from midnight to about one AM. Another night the work started around 3:30. It was impossible to sleep. I have no idea if that work happens daily or annually. I just know that sleep was impossible for all three nights I was there. The hotel room itself was decent, but there were other problems. There were no available plugs at the desk. There were plenty of plugs around the room, but the only free plugs at the desk were under the desk. I had to unplug the coffee maker to find a usable desk plug for my computer. The bathroom was okay, but there wasn't much room for toiletry bags. There was a small corner table that held one, but where to put a second bag? The sink area did not provide an answer. The problem is that there are no hooks or bars or shelves on the wall. There are two hooks in the shower, but those were only convenient for towels. There are two night lights on the two nightstands. But they have only one control. Both are either on or off. That's a minor but annoying problem. But for the noise, the hotel would have rated four stars. The outside noise may not have been the hotel's fault, but it wasn't my fault either.

“Good but not special”
The best

This hotel is lovely but lacks character and charm. Our room was clean and comfortable and came with an iced bottle of cava - a very nice touch. Unfortunately, it also smelled bad. We asked staff to try to freshen it up to remove the bad odor but this was not successful. If you're looking for the ultimate charming boutique hotel in Seville, check out Casa del Poeta

“Amazing stay”
The best

I stayed in hotel Gravina for 5 nights. The hotel was the best part of my trip to Seville. The hotel room is very tastefully furnished, functional and spacious. Well lit, with outlets at both night stands. I felt it was quiet, contrary to other reviews. It’s also in an ideal location, in close proximity to major attractions but in a sort of side street. It is listed as a 4 star hotel but it was definitely not 4 stars, and I would argue closer to 5 stars. I have stayed in 5 stars with less amenities and services. Taxi is able to drop you off to the door and it was about a 10-15 min ride from the train station. Upon entering, someone assisted with my baggage and brought it up to my room. Check in was quick and gave me all the information. They had a complimentary drink and snacks. The room was nice, bed was comfortable and I liked the pillows. There is a mattress protector on the bed but not a full zip. Sheets were changed without having to request this. Housekeeping did A+++ The fridge had complimentary snacks and drinks that were replenished daily. Shower was nice. They had l’occitane products and left with me a little present. Rooms came stocked with robes, slippers and I didn’t have to call to have these sent to the room (one of my biggest pet peeves). They did have breakfast daily, there was a deal if you did it for your entire stay 18 euro vs 25 euro if I recall correctly. I’m not a huge breakfast person but I did try it once. It was okay, I enjoyed everything but breakfast is not something I value so not worth it to me. Of note, there are no signs indicating what each item is but there is a QR code that you can scan to get this info. The staff at breakfast and at the front desk were amazing. Ordered me a hotel at departure as well. Didn’t order room service so can’t comment on that. Everyone really went out of their way to be helpful, friendly. There’s no gym to my knowledge, beautiful terrace that I used a few times. Overall I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel in Seville and I would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend the hotel.

“Great location”

We stayed there for four nights. The first night we were in a room on the street and we were up all night. They told us there were no cars or traffic, but that was not true and a lot of parties walking by. So if you stay there, try to avoid the street room.

“A beautiful, central hotel in Sevilla”
The best

We had an incredible stay at Hotel Gravina. The location was incredibly central, and our room was massive, charming and comfortable with the most darling little balcony that could be used rain or shine. I'm very particular about bathroom products and was happy to see gorgeous L'occitane in the shower. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, even lending us an umbrella on a rainy day. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and my room was ready surprisingly early when I needed to do a morning check-in.
