“No air con in warm month of May makes for sleepless night near Toledo.”

We complained that the room was too warm (28 degree celsius) and we could not control the air con. Staff told us that the air condition is centralized and we can't do anything to cool the room. Staff told us to open the windows so as to let cool air into the room. We did that but we had to bear with the unpleasant smell from outside (was it the farmland around us?). The room only started to cool off after 1 am. We thankfully managed to get some sleep after 2am. They advertized as a 4 star hotel with air condition. I obviously disagree as it was our worst stay in Spain. The best part was we only stayed one night. We happily left in the morning. Those staying here during the warmer months better be aware

We booked a triple room which actually was a double room with an extra small bed with a quite bad mattress. The space in the room was not so appropriate for 3 persons. Price was good, but I don’t think the hotel deserves 4 starts.

Room was allright, although not special. Sufficient parking space, quiet surroundings.

To be improved

Breakfast was very basic. Personnel behind the reception seemed quite uninterested. Very bad smell (sewer) around the hotel, but it was in a week of heavy rain so it could be because of that. Indoor the smell was not so noticeable.

Convenient for travel to southern Spain. Good parking garage. Friendly staff. Very comfortable bed and facilities. Good balance busy local atmosphere and good food in bar.
