“Great weekend getaway.”

The best

The terrace and the views are exceptional. The room was big, clean, and comfortable.

To be improved

The spa is an extra charge of €20 per person. It is not worth paying that much for a small inside pool with two water jets. Additionally, the jacuzzi wasn’t working.

“Pleasant hotel with great amenities. Don’t stay in the cabins!”

The best

The grounds and the main building (and everything in it) were outstanding. My brother stayed in one of the hotel rooms and was impressed by it. We loved the breakfast offerings (additional cost) and the spa/pool area (also additional cost). My wife used the gym and she loved it. It’s pretty big and is fully equipped. The location near the hiking trails was perfect.

To be improved

The cabins need TLC to be up to the same standards of the hotel (main building). The first cabin we were given flooded upstairs while we showered the kids and water started dripping downstairs from the flood. We were then moved to a different cabin and the room distribution was horrible. The living room/kitchen were tight and awkward. We just didn’t have a good overall experience in the cabins. They need some remodeling.

It was very cold at the main space at night. up stairs was very warm but in the bedrooms down stairs it was not warm enough, and took a long time to be ok with very warm clothes. I didn't know until i did the reservation that the breakfast only stars at 8:30 (not relevant if you go for Ski early), that there is no dinners at the hotel (just small menu for room service) at Monday and Tuesday, that you are not aloud to bring food from the outside (although there is a kitchen there for cooking) and that you need do reserve the using of the spa in advance for 20 euros for 45 minutes (30 for an hour). When we came the heat of the seeming pool didn't work so we got a discount.
