“Average Holiday Inn”

Included breakfast was decent, continental style.

I've seen many places with similar space dedicated to breakfast who had someone cooking eggs to order, so I guess that would be a nice addition. These places were at the same price point, so I suppose paying the extra employee is something those hotels did even if it cut into profits, and I guess Holiday Inn just isn't interested in that.

“Sufficient if you don't expect much.”

Staff were fantastic. So welcoming, efficient and friendly. Hotel was easy to access from the motorway and a supermarket and two fast food restaurants were very handy. Good access to outer areas of madrid.

To be improved

Hotel was very scruffy. Rubbish was left in corridors for all 3 days we were there. It all needs an update. Damp patches, cracked sink, stains in bathroom. Literally located on an industrial estate. Local area very dirty, spotted many rats while attempting a walk. Didn't feel safe. Breakfasts were odd. Cereals, bread, fruit, yogurts pastries.... and chicken nuggets?
