Hotel Hostal Cuba

We have travelled extensively across the world. Never have we experienced anything like this. The rooms on the first floor are located directly above a nightclub. We did not sleep a single night during our stay. Not because of occasional noise — but because it felt like sleeping on a dancefloor. The bass was relentless. What is completely unacceptable is that this information was nowhere to be found when we booked. At this price point, guests deserve to know what they are paying for. A simple warning would have been the bare minimum. We received nothing. We raised the issue with staff during our stay. They were polite and sympathetic — but utterly powerless to help. A telling sign of a management that leaves its frontline staff to absorb complaints they have no tools to handle. We followed up with a formal written complaint after our stay. We never received a reply. That silence says everything. Do not book a room here if you value sleep. Do not expect this hotel to take responsibility when things go wrong. And do not expect them to have the basic decency to respond to a guest complaint. We will not be returning.

This place is terrible. The staff is extremely rude and the overall experience was a complete waste of time. Save yourself the frustration and run the other way—absolutely not worth it. Very unreasonable people and so many other good bars around, enjoy Palma!

Whilst the hotel and restaurant were great, the roof top bar was poorly. On our first and last trip up to the roof, we were met with a very busy overcrowded area. Plenty of bar staff to serve you, only they just told us to sit and they'd come and serve you. 40 minutes passed and not one bar staff came over to take our order. I had to litterly grab a guy and ask him if he was going to take our drinks order. another 20 minutes passed and temperatures were still above 30c in the evening. eventually our drinks arrived with no apology. then another member of their team said they's reduce the bill. he disappeared shortly after and another member of the team came over when we paid the bill. i mentioned how long we were waiting but his english wasnt good. i dont actually blame the staff as theyre just doing a job. however the management should be held responsible. plenty of people didnt bother waiting and left quite angry. i paid my bill, but will never return. BTW, we went to the Nakar roof top bar and DJ and got served in 3 minutes! Hotel Cuba - you need to up your game or else plenty more people will pass you and not come in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This place was great! It has a fun rooftop, the staff is so nice and friendly, the breakfast was delicious and it's in a prime location. The room was really big, the amenities were awesome, and the staff was so accommodating.

Horrible! You cannot sleep as the hotel organizing party until 3 and do not respect hotel guests! Staff is not even care and they do not give contact to managrment. Very expensive, donnot worth the money at all. Avoid the hotel in anny case in case you eant to sleep

My favourite hotel in Palma. Quaint, charming boutique hotel right at the foot of Santa Catalina, walking distance from pretty much everything.
