Pet friendly, although with unjustifiable fee

To be improved

No fan or air con. Prices double in July and August despite this being the least comfortable time to stay. Got no sleep. Far too hot. Windows wide open and noisy road. Bathroom was old and moldy. Looks like no renovation or reinvestment since building

“Comfortable stay with a nice view”
The best

It was a comfortable short stay at the hotel! We had a room with a view to the mountain and a big terrace that we could enjoy. We had everything we needed in the room and overall was tidy and clean. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, and the access system simple and clear. Also the parking spaces were taken care of and spacious, and we could park without problems.

To be improved

You can tell that the hotel is a bit old, specially in the bathrooms, but this was not a problem as all the services (bathroom, windows, doors, internet) functioned perfectly. As it is placed on the road, it can be a bit loud for some people. For us it was more than fine to sleep as it is not very transited and there is nothing else loud around.

Our kind host was excellent. She was most helpful and ensured that we had a very pleasant stay. Her telephone call in advance of our arrival was much appreciated.

“I have to admit, I was a bit scared by the position and the vintage looking rooms; instead, our stay at Hotel Ibaigune was actually amazing! Rooms were spacious and our beds were really comfortable. We got some nice advice from the guy at the reception on where to have dinner and also had an amazing continental breakfast in the morning, with both savory and sweet treats and lots of fruit and beverages! We really enjoyed our stay, and also had the time of our life having a little get together on their outside tables and chairs (we were a big group, hope we didn't bother anybody)... thank you very much for your ospitality!”
