Good value, secure parking, clean. Great for an overnight stay

Sound proofing of rooms is not great, breakfast room is small and crowded, needs a different solution to dispense coffee and hot water to speed up the process.

A good hotel in the town centre of Ciudad Rodrigo. The 'historic old town' is well worth a look, and is uphill of the hotel. The modern town centre is in the opposite direction, and not as beautiful of course.

To be improved

I struggled to make myself understood with the Reception lady, even though I speak several languages (but not Spanish). Used google translate in the end, but still struggled and was only sorted when the owner got involved. I was a tiny bit annoyed with the attitude I received tbh. Motorcyclists beware if using the underground carpark, as the ramp is really steep and has a 90 degree bend near the top.
