“No service”
We arrived at a reasonable time. We had to phone to talk to someone. Nobody showed up. We went to the next restaurant to inquire. A very rude women asked for our papers. she gave us an expensive room with a little window and no view for the highest price advertised in the lobby. The web was not functioning. The place is conveniently located but badly run.
“Great spot for lunch”
Situated on the Ruta del Toro ( route of the Bull ) this was a fab place to stop and have lunch. Large, clean with good food and all the ambience of the area. Driving up from the coast toward Jerez on A381.
“Very friendly and comfortable”
I stayed here for a weekend whilst needing to drain bad Moroccan fuel from my car. Its a very comfortable, friendly hotel with good facilities, though aimed at locals rather than foreign tourists. French and Spanish are spoken but no English. The local landscape and the nearby National Park are stunning. I may well go back here as the region looks well worth exploring and this will be a good hotel to use as a base.
“Only good for one night stay, passing through.”
This is a hotel strictly for one night stay on our way from and to the sahara desert. The rooms are okay although we saw the first cockroach of the trip in the bathroom which looked clean . The hotel staff don't speak any other languages then Spanish and they don't even bother. The restaurant of the hotel is horrendous and the staff are rude.
“Reasonable and clean - super breakfast”
We were on our way to trek in the Parque de los Alcornocales, Cadiz (very recomendable and not well known at all) and the hotels up in town were pretty awful. We returned to the lower part of town near the highway, and had a good surprise. This is a roadside hotel, clean rooms, and pretty decent service. Breakfast was fabulous - ask for the toast (the bread is made by a local Baker and brought in), with oil and tomato (tostada con tomate). A really nice beginning to a day of walking.
“Surprisingly good!”
I wasn't expecting much so anything good about this place was a bonus. It was not my first option but had no choice, I was heading to Cadiz and there war no decent and affordable accommodation in Cadiz or Jerez that Saturday (Sep 6). There were so many weddings in the city and I think was also a Holiday that made booking a good room impossible. So I had to get this hotel even if it was far from Cadiz. The room cost me 65 euros, not cheap, but the whole area is expensive. It came with breakfast, simple but good. The restaurant has a mess hall feeling, you get a voucher for breakfast, you line up to order your food, they call you when ready, you go pick it up. I had breakfast and I had diner, see pictures attached, Cordoba style Bull tail , very tasty. People are very kind. Hotel is not sophisticated, but clean and functional. I had a terrace, large balcony with beautiful view. Try to get to the restaurant early, it is a bus stop, many coaches stop there fore food, it is good food. Again, see my pictures The hotel is right by the highway, good location, just between a gas bar and a grocery store, you have everything that you need there. I talked to a couple from Germany, there were there for three days for horse riding. It is also a meeting/starting point for riders on both horses and motorcycles. Over all...yes a decent place just too far from Jerez though.
