Lovely rural hotel usedby the locals. Very quiet. Simple tapas meals in evening. Nice continental breakfast.

To be improved

Would have been nice to sit in garden area rather than next to large car park where local lorries parked overnight.

An incredible place with the kindest owners — we felt so welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious, the location stunning, and the value for money unbeatable. The entire property was spotlessly clean, and every single staff member was warm and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for more!

“A pleasant stay, but frustrated after being locked out”

I was met with a total blank when I arrived, holding luggage, saying hello, I have a ‘hotel reservation’. I know I wasn’t able to speak Spanish, but ‘Hôtel’ is the same in both languages and someone standing there with luggage saying the word hotel, surely should register some recognition as they cleared (and eventually) saw that they were indeed expecting an English guest. I was then given a key and that was it. No gesturing, ‘it’s up the stairs’, help with luggage, or guidance. Nothing, just a key placed in the counter. It was a shame breakfast didn’t start earlier. (9am was the earliest) I was locked then outside whilst getting my motorcycle ready at 8:30am. After much door knocking and no response, I eventually managed to get a fellow guest to let me in! Left me frustrated and bothered.
