“Online check-in only for a historic hotel on the main square”

The check-in is fully online, which is anonymous but worked well. I liked having an elevator in a historic hotel like this. The parking instructions provided by email were useful: it really is no problem to unload and unload your car in the main square where the hotel is (ideally) located. The dimensions of the room were unusual (quite elongated) but this gave an atmosphere of authenticity.

To be improved

No reception or lobby, though there is a breakfast room.

“Great value for money, nice professional staff and a clean spacious room.”

The best

The location was really good - we got one facing the main town square. The communication with the hotel was great so getting in and finding the room was easy, and the room with nice and spacious, with a large bathroom. Breakfast was nice, with a selection of basic things and with very kind staff at hand to help with any requests such as heating milk.

To be improved

The bedside lamps were quite strong and general, not discreet or down facing/controlable. Shower head was slightly blocked and small, which was a shame as the shower unit was nice & large.
