The best

One of the best staff experiences I've ever had at a hotel! The staff was so friendly, and patient with my intermediate Spanish. My friends and I wanted to go hiking nearby, and the staff provided excellent, thoughtful recommendations. Super cozy hotel nestled in the foothills of the high Pyrenees, great food at the hotel in the cozy dining room, and an excellent breakfast with so many great options to choose from. Amazing value for the price. The best hospitality.

“Perfect stay, specifically catering for hikers doing the GR11”
The best

Very nice hotel, room is perfect with a very nice balcony. I was doing the GR11 and when the owner realized I had booked a hotel off the GR11 because I thought the next Refugi was closed, he called the next Refugi to ensure it had opened, made a reservation there for the next night and even called the hotel where I had made the reservation and convinced them to cancel the reservation at no cost. Super helpful. Dinner in the evening was tasty at a very reasonable price.

They accept dogs and even in the cafeteria! We travelled with a puppy (she still cannot be alone) and they accomodated us perfectly!

The best

Hotel Llacs de Cardos is right next to the ski pistes of Tavascan which make for a great daywalk and or ski outing. Highly recommend also for their amazing restaurant (catalan cuisine!) and breakfast.
