“Handy a helpful, great place for a short stay”

The best

Very helpful staff, super clean, great bathroom. Only a short taxi ride from the airport. Attached Cafeteria was perfect for a coffee and a bite to eat for breakfast.

To be improved

No faults with the facilities. It's on a main road if that is a problem to you.

“Nice room shame about the noise”

The best

The room was clean and tidy - the bed comfortable. Shower room was a good size with a good shower and crisp towels. Overall the accommodation matched our expectations but the external noise severely disrupted our night. To anyone booking a stay here try to insist on a room at the front if there is anything likely to be happening at the rear of the building. The noise we complained about could barely be heard in the reception area at the front of the building. The adjacent cafe was very good incidentally and the proprietor/manager was very friendly.

To be improved

We could/should have been advised when booking that there was a scheduled fiesta for the evening of our stay. A mobile 'Party Disco' immediately at the back of the hotel. This went on until 2.15am with loud music and a thumping bass. We asked to change rooms to the front of the building and were simply told we couldn't - no mention of the hotel being full or no alternative available, simply "no". Also it may be worth pointing out to the night staff that a shrug is not an acceptable response to guests queries?
