Extremely clean. The breakfast was good, continental, but tasty. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

To be improved

There was no lift and no air conditioning. The pillows were uncomfortable.

“Comfortable bed, clean. Lots of eclectic items in the public areas - grandfather clocks, suit of armor, bear skin rugs, etc. · Cons: There seemed to be no staff at the hotel. We arrived and the front door was locked. We called and were told the key was in a lock box. The restaurant has burned down and it was a long walk to get meals in the city center. There was a sign that breakfast was offered at 830AM but there was no one there. Oddly a side room was full of dirty coffee cups and orange juice glasses. Not sure if other guests are well before 830AM. It was a bit odd.”
