Hotel Madrid Centro Affiliated by Meliá

No security at all! Luggage stolen whilst paying for room in hotel lobby. Hotel staff didn’t show huge concern or surprise told us we had to go to the police station they refused to phone the police for us! Staff admitted it’s happened before. Shame as this has now tainted our views on Madrid and trust in locals!

For the cost of this hotel I would expect more, poor and tired rooms, breakfast wasn't great either, too bright and music too loud reception staff not very helpful either, they wrote my CC card details down as a security deposit and when I asked for the invoice in the morning they told me I would have to email them for it, strange as every other hotel I've stayed in provide this as a matter of course at check out, so overall not a great experience

Elena was amazing. The hotel and location was good and fine. The attention and service provided by the staff was outstanding. And I travel a lot.

The location was great! The room was comfortable and clean. One of the things we liked the most was the breakfast buffet. It had so many different options to choose from.
