Hotel Mainake

Well situated hotel within easy walking distance of the town and beach. The bedroom was a comfortable size and had a well equipped bathroom. We were there for two weeks and the bedding and towels were changed on a regular basis the room was spotlessly clean as was the rest of the hotel. The reception staff were very helpful giving us good travel advice to visit near by towns and villages. The bus station is about 6/7 minutes walk away and the services were regular. The is a cafe bar attached to the premises which is inexpensive and has a modest selection of snacks and drinks open until around 10pm. However there are many bars and restaurants nearby We will return to this resort and will not hesitate to stay at this hotel again

The hotel is very clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly. There are lots of restaurants and bars nearby but the hotel was always quiet and peaceful. The hotel is a couple of roads back but it is an easy walk to the beach. We enjoyed our short stay here and would stay again.

Nice hotel near sea and shops. Location was perfect for us, easy to find parking places. Interior is bit old styled at restaurant and rooms. Breakfast was really good and versatile. Hotel is wery clean and staff was helpful and nice. Only minus was view from our balcony to construction site next door. Hopefully that will be ready soon.

Staff had hospitality in their genes. All of our concerns were taken care of immediately with kindness and care. The beds are comfortable and the linens are nice. Location is an easy walk to the beach where you can have a swim or dinner. Breakfast was divine.

A really nice hotel with friendly staff. There was breakfast available as well as a lovely rooftop pool and sunbed area! The rooms were spacious and the bathrooms were a really good size too. Only 3mins walk from the beach and lots of restaurants nearby too!

Anybody who stayed at this hotel prior to lockdown will tell you it was a lovely small clean well managed hotel. Post Covid it has new owners who want to capitalise on the small conference facility and have re modelled the hotel into a cold business hotel. Brown, beige and white now dominate, the beds are rock hard, cheap laminate floors dominate all areas, we had a junior suite that offered no more than a bed in a larger than normal room, minimal furniture but strangely 2 TV’s within a couple of metres of each other and an old 3 seat sofa. Bland and uncomfortable we could take no more, we found a local Airbnb and checked out. This hotel is not a holiday hotel anymore.
