Hotel Marbel

The front desk was nice and friendly. Rooms were just ok. Not that new as on the pictures. Little overpriced. Ok for few 2-3 days of stay. Breakfast was good. We checked in late night and our kid was sleeping. We wanted to take away some breakfast for him. The staff did not let us do it. Therefore we had to wake him up and come down for breakfast.

DO NOT BOOK HERE. They will cancel your booking when advertising below price on booking then get booking to do their dirty work. I reached out for a response and they ignored it rather than honouring their adverisement. They are scumming scammers that will draw you in with conman play then leave you without a hotel after spending £80 to get a taxi to the hotel.

Was really worried after reading the reviews of this place but it wasn't too bad at all. Dated furniture and shabby looking outside but clean enough with clean towels every day. Be warned that if there are any belongings on your bed, the cleaners wont change/make your bed. The upstairs pool is a little suntrap. If you fancy a pool day, there's a Spar literally next door when we bought snacks and drinks and tool up to the pool. We were BnB and didn't bother with breakfasts but there are some lovely restaurants around. El Goucho is an Argentinean steakhouse which was out of this world. Would definitely recommend. Excellent location, 14 euro-ish from the airport only and short walk to the beach and bars. Nothing too flash but not to bad for a few days. Would probably go back.
