“How on Earth did this Hotel get 4*?”
We have stayed at 3 hotels during a week exploring Spain's "Middle". Breakfast : No Muesli No Granola No bowl of Vanilla / Plain Yoghurt No bespoke Coffee As a Group we were not allowed to use the Main Breakfast Restaurant. We were hidden away in a soulless room on the 1st Floor. And Breakfast only commenced @ 8.00am, not 7.30am. Our party was only 18 souls - perhaps 4 Tables worth. No Tissues in the Rooms. Oh and no Bar / Coffee facilities. Just a nasty machine, see Photograph. The Restaurant was rarely open. Fortunately Cambito (see separate Review) was just opposite and excellent. Oh, and a bus ride from the city centre. The good news : Very comfortable beds. Wonderful, double walk in Shower with 2 Shower Heads, a Dinner Plate and a smaller one on a wand. Both could be used separately. No doubt Cox & Kings had a discount, but we will not be returning. Hayling Seagoon

“Location is great. Only five minutes walk to the old town. The building is beautiful. Clean and bed is comfortable. Good quality/price rate. · Cons: Parking access is quite tricky. Bathroom was huge but there was not a spot to put your things or clothes, not practical at all.”

“Great place to stay in Toledo.”
Location, outside the old town so easy to reach by car but only a 10 minute walk to the centre. The option of a cafeteria or buffet breakfast. It’s in a nice building. Great bathroom.
The room was on the top floor with a sloping ceiling so you had to be careful with your head.

“I would stay at Maria Christina again and highly recommend this hotel.”
My room was a good size, well arranged, with a great view of the arena. Breakfast was enjoyable, with numerous choices. The staff was very helpful and always available. Everything was neat and clean and the bed was very comfortable.
Nothing.
