Subject: Complaint About My Stay at Hotel Market Barcelona (June 18–22) Dear Hotel Market Team, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with my stay at your hotel from June 18 to June 22. Unfortunately, my stay was affected by several issues that significantly impacted my experience and left me very disappointed: • I was hardly able to sleep at night because a light on the ceiling was permanently on and could not be turned off. • There was no minibar in the room – although it was not explicitly advertised, I expected one at a hotel of this standard. • The restaurant located directly below the hotel, which apparently is not part of your establishment, was extremely loud in the evenings and at night. The noise level was very disturbing. • The neighboring room doors were very noisy – every opening and closing was accompanied by a loud bang. • The room key cards frequently did not work and had to be reactivated multiple times. • The bathroom door was just a thin partition wall with holes – there was no privacy at all while showering or using the toilet. Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet my expectations and thus disappointed me. Due to these experiences, I will not book this hotel again and cannot recommend it to others. “Terrible front desk clero”
The best

I’ve been staying at this hotel for years and I have never had a bad experience until today. Camilo at the front desk was not only unprofessional and rude but did not have the room available he promised over the phone a day early. It is not good to have this kind of staff in such nice and charming hotels.

The best

Lovely area of Barcelona but mainly chose it for its location to family. Comfortable bed and air-con works ok. Staff variable - Carmelio is lovely! Not the best hotel we've stayed in but good enough. Barcelona hotels are not cheap at any time of the year, and this is no exception.

“Awful hotel”
The best

The photos of this place look great . I checked in to a small single room . It was awful. The room was very much in need of paint . And the bathroom had an awful smell . I had to leave the bathroom window open to sleep .
