“Beautiful, quiet place - could use some atmosphere though”
The best

This truly is a beautiful place. The building itself is astonishing both inside and out. We enjoyed a 3 night stay in the apartment which is very spacious and great when traveling with kids (2 beds, 2 baths). Good location to visit Figueres, Girona or even the beach.

To be improved

The access road could use a lot of improvement; driving over 2km on a extremely narrow, bumpy and rocky road will damage your vehicle at some point. The place is quiet and actually earily so - we had a hard time ordering a drink by the pool because there's nobody to be found. Service at breakfast was lacking, no tables were set outside so we had to do it on our own. With some attention to detail and atmosphere, this place could be so much more alive!

“Boutique Charm”
The best

I like the hotel boutique feeling. The property is in a 800 yr old hotel used by the Templars(Fully renovated of course)....truly unique. Staff were very helpful and the manager explained the history behind the property. We came with our doggy and they welcomed our pet as part of the family....very unique as well.

To be improved

The only thing was the directions to the property. We used apple maps, google maps and waze...but none could lead us to the right direction. However, the right directions are disclosed on the property website (we did not check it until later).

“Lovely charming hotel with a beautiful view”
The best

Very friendly staff, beautiful location, good breakfast, charming and historic property.

To be improved

The restaurant was fully booked the night we arrived and there aren’t many options to eat in the vicinity as the hotel is a bit out of the way. It would have been if the hotel had phoned us to ask if we wanted a table. Guests of the hotel should presumably take priority over other visitors.
