Lovely tranquil location, the garden en wisteria over the front door were beautiful…..

To be improved

The hotel was recommended because of the excellent food, but when we arrived after an 8 hour drive the restaurant was closed, we were offered a very minimal room service menu ( omelette etc) or drive for 25 minutes to the nearest town, which we did. When checking our email later, they had send an email ,after booking, that the restaurant was closed. This is not mentioned on the booking.com site.

- very friendly staff - delicious food - beautiful property, very tranquil - comfortable space - simple to find location and easy to park close to room

To be improved

- slow to respond to messages/questions via booking.com (& it would not let me use the WhatsApp link from their website in a different country though this was useful during the stay) - charging guests for spa instead of included in room price; I could understand if it was very fancy experience but it was quite basic/rustic and neither hot tub or sauna were especially hot

“Tranquil Haven”
The best

Large, comfortable room. Bed was huge and good quality. The surrounds were just tranquil and glorious. Lovely pool and outdoor area for eating. Breakfast and dinner are outstanding.

To be improved

Sauna, spa area is very average and overpriced. Lunch menu is limited and poor.
