Good choice and lots of it. Buffet style, so you choose exactly what and how much you wanted.

Nothing really. We have stayed in 'posher' hotels, but the Mediterraneo was clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful, service was good, breakfast plentiful and good quality. Nothing to complain about at all!

“High price in high season, low value, go elsewhere if you can”

The best

Air conditioning worked very well... outside was +30C but I needed to run it only occasionally. In room 305 I had no issue with outside noise. There is one window, then blinds then another window then curtain and it is third floor so it is fine. Bed and pillows were comfortable so I slept very well Some metal parts were visibly corroded in the room but otherwise it seemed clean up to my standards.

To be improved

Very low value for money. I was there in july on weekend in high season and price per night was about €110 for small room with one bed I visited Guardamar on several occasions and stayed in hotel Levante, Quino and Eden Mar. Eden Mar at the same time was cheaper per day and provided better room. Levante and Quino are equally worse and Mediterráneo worst... at least the room 305 I had. The room looked like from 1993 and the modernized parts from 2005, or like you would visit grandma. Pictures you see in description are not for the particular room you will get. It is mixed and each room is different Even if I had no issues with outside noise the walls inside are thin. I heard woman speaking russian over phone for 2 hours straight and every word was audible... sometimes I could hear person on the other side of the phone. And then few other calls I was not interested in... but this is an issue with many hotels. Also same like in many other hotels if you want to sleep after 8AM you have to use earplugs because corridors have no sound damping and you hear all the doors slamming and carriage pushing

It was just as advertised. Family run and very friendly and helpful staff. Great value for the price. And good breakfast choices and location for town and beach.
