“Great location and service”

The best

We had a great stay at Meliá Hotel in Bilbao, from our initial welcome, to our lovely meals and snacks in the Level breakfast room and lounge. We felt genuinely cared for each day by the entire staff, especially Nekané, and Yolanda. Our room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. And the location was central to all the activities we were interested in. The park across the street is gorgeous and shady and had lots of activities for children. Indoor self parking was reasonable although the parking structure would have been challenging with a larger vehicle.

Nice big bed and nice room

I wanted champagne as a surprise on arrival but had to call reception twice ruining the surprise . Pool was a bit smelly and no Sunbeds . Staff were not that friendly

“Hotel has declared me as a 'no-show' even though we stayed as expected”

To be improved

The hotel has marked us as a 'no show' even though we stayed in the hotel on the date we had booked as planned. There has been no attempt to rectify this, even though I reported it weeks ago.

“Great location, great amenities, great stay and excellent staff!”

The best

The room was beautiful and comfortable. The view was lovely. The staff were extremely helpful and we enjoyed grabbing a drink at the bar in the evenings and the breakfast display was very delicious. We also enjoyed spending time in the upper lounge areas while waiting for our flight before heading to the airport. We enjoyed to pool too!
