Hotel Melibea by gaiarooms

I cannot believe this hotel has 4 stars. First, there is no people to manage the hotel: none in reception, none in coffe, none in any place! We suffer issues in the checkin, no invoice after the check out, none to claim or ask! Secondly, breakfast buffet is at the level of 1 star. And no people to serve. Third, there is no space to stay in almost any place. You cannot drink in the bar, because there is no service, there is no meeting room at all.

Travelling north and stayed one night to see Salamanca. Fabulous location inside the old city. Parking one minute walk away for €15. Fabulous restaurants, plaza major and shopping only two minutes walk. Contemporary hotel with comfortable bed and all amenities. Breakfast served. Good choice. Automated check in is easy though help is available. Overall very nice modern comfortable stay. Great value.

The hotel and service were excellent. I arrived from Madrid on the Avanza coach the hotel was an 18mins walk. The location of the hotel is in between the Plaza and Gran Via. A great location and in the hub of depending what is your preference - local experience, tourist hotspots, old town and great restaurant and bars. I had an issue with the air conditioner on arrival and the staff were available to solve the issue immediately. Although reception service is from 3pm - 10pm. You can check-in online so you are not waiting around at reception and on check-out you can leave your bags safely there. The room was large and had a fairly large terrace, great natural light, view of the old cathedral and good internet connection. All staff speak several languages and are super professional and helpful.

Had a very comforting stay in Melibea Hotel. The hotel is very convenient if you come by car as you can easily park the car in front to unload the bags and then you can try to find a free parking place around 5-7 minutes walking (as it's paid everywhere on the historical center). The hotel is very technological and you can check in and open your doors via smartphone. The rooms are big and the bed very comfortable, the bathroom is small but very practical. Best is the location, perfectly situated to explore the center walking. Would definitely go back.

Very cool hotel with big rooms and outside space. Staff are very charming and helpful. We had a little trouble with our air con they straight away gave us another room. Very clean and quiet for those who enjoy calm nights. Location is great next to the university and the Cathedral. I highly recommen this hotel.

This is a lovely new boutique hotel, fabulously located just blocks from the historic center of Salamanca. They offer automated check-in and -- a first for me in more than 50 years of travel -- room access via a code on your mobile phone! I was there during COVID, so the breakfast was limited to fresh fruit, toast and coffee, but delightfully served by the friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable, quiet rooms.
